Brushstrokes: Healing Through Artmaking Station

Visitors are invited to engage with Brush Strokes: Champion of My Sound, an award-winning short film by Lakisha Bradley and renowned Filmmaker Obed Lamy that highlights the transformative power of creativity, resilience, and family legacy.

Following the screening, guests can immerse themselves in a guided bilateral drawing activity, designed to encourage relaxation, reflection, and balance. Participants will explore creativity using watercolor paints, watercolor paper, pencils, and acrylic pens—allowing the mind and body to connect through the simple act of mark-making.

This station is designed to be approachable, calming, and inspirational for all ages.
